parents 35th anniversary
Jul. 17th, 2005 11:16 amso we're (me, sis, bro, kid, mum and da) are going out to celebrate the parents 35th anniversary. its casual dress so i show up with dark eyeshadow (first bit of makeup asside from mascara and lip gloss i've put on all summer), converse high tops [no socks], pseudo parashoot pants, a black silk tank top that has a sheer edging thing at the top to make it a bit dressier, a biker belt overtop tank (cause these pants have no button holes) and overgelled hair. my da? grinning like he's proud: "Now all you need is a fender and you'd look like Joan Jet!" he goes on to say: "It looks good, its great that you have your own style."
*blinkblinkblink* sometimes my parents blow me away with how understanding/excepting they can be considering they're usually not.
of course, i thought it was 11 am when i took a shower only to glance at a clock over here and its only 11:22. i really need to fix all my clocks *head desk*
