So, a writer friend stumbled across the Harry Dresden books awhile back (i think i remember mentioning this) and started lending them to me and i got hooked and now they're making a tv show! its a v. exciting, i hope it turns out well.

I've heard nothing but good things about those books; are they written in first or third person? (I'm picky, yes I am.)

first person--they arent the most brilliant things written (imho) and where the narrative tends to be somewhat cliche and the plots predictable; the characters, nevertheless, made me feel so much as if Angel and XF had collided that i couldnt stop reading until they had grown on me and i was hooked ;)
