winter_roguegosh, i always seem to e tired nowadays... school is going to be sssuuuccch a pain the rear.
well, i had to work Sshadow today and let me tell you, it did NOT start out fun! as i was mounting the girth pinched his skin and he decided to take off, throwing in some bucks (this horse may be an Arab but he could have won at the rodeos, belive me!). meanwhile i'm contemplating whether i'm going to be able to hang on much longer (i've already almost slipped off his rear) when i figure it would be better to bail, only my helmet isnt strapped on (because, i mean, this horse is the best schooled in the barn) and i get thrown into on the corners of the arena and Sshadow takes off bucking around in this big circle (all the while Jose', out groom, is cheering the two of us on because he though Julie had us on a lung and we were schooling the horse). poor Julie is like 'who do i look after first?!' becuase by this time i've rolled to my knees and am just kinda dazed, and looking around going 'what the hell just happened?' and all the arena doors are wide open (the barns sits really close to a main road) anyway, we finnally get Sshadow calmed down and Julie tried him out while i try to get some of the dirt out of my jeans. then i school him weastern for a little while. poor guy, at first he was scared of me. you should have seen the look he was giving me like 'oh, crap, i really hope she's not pissed at me'. anyway, the rest of the ride wasnt so bad except i sprained my left thumb, i might have hurt my shoulder, i swear if i bruised i would have a foot long line of purple running across my hip, my head is STILL killing me (no ammount of asprain is going to take away this monster) and my entire neck sorta freezed up on mean. can i say for the record that neck injeries have got to be the worst. i mean i've had a lot of things hurt (its only understandable since i ride and train horses, participate in extensive biking (not even going to go there) and i've taken up ametuer kick-boxing mixed with some simple ti-chi (sp?))and neck injuries have to be the worst. i think i've lucked out that i've never broken any bones.
but anyway, this all happened after i got the wonderful news that this morning these two wonderful people (Cody and Rae) agreed to host my blend challenge site. these guys really rock, Cody even explained how the hell to use FTP *g* which is actually really easy, it just took me and hour to figure out how to do what he was telling me to do. anyway, the new address for Faded Memories is: here. so no more annoying adds and pop ups. i think i'm going to have to find a host for New Moon as well... *sigh* first i need to finish the new layout and get more content.
but enough gloominess, as Scarlet said 'Tomorrow is another day!'. hmmm, no idea where that came from *lol*
