so, i'm back. *melts into chair* it was a ton of fun...though i doubt the bro really believes i had fun, cause these things really arent my "thing" but still, it was entertaining. *lol* we worked soooooooo hard, the pedometer read over 11000 steps from all my running around getting things and helping the bro with the cabobs n stuff. we had so much food!oh! and the sister found these genuin Root Bears that come in the real bear bottles and they were soooooo good. best root bear i've had in a long time, plus it was just fun ;)
played games--i suck at Outburst, mostly cause i'm from a different generation then 1)the game and 2)everyone else *lol* but the girls also kept getting all the uber hard questions and the guys kept getting the sports questions which is so not fair cause they had Ray who i get the feeling watches way more sports then he should *lol* within the Ney York area he got 9/10 questions about teams right. it was insane imo.
omg! and then Tammy and Jen got a hold of one of the bro's Bass Pro mags and were flipping through it with T's husband Ken (bro's best friend) and it was so hilarious--they went on for like 20 minutes about the personal, portable toilet things. *shudders* scaaaary.
but it was fun. even though the ice cream got messed up (with think the paddle wasnt in right so it didnt get stirred enough) and we had to serve it as a milkshake (really nummy nontheless) and that actually worked really well cause we also had a layered cocanut cake. i should have grabbed more the first time around though cause we told people to help themselves and Ray just about ate about 1/3 of it. *lol* it was funny, the guy just does not stop eating!
we actually all broke up pretty early considering how late these things usually last--i think mostly this was due to Ken and Tammy having partied the night before and kinda dieing on us early *g* which reminds me: they give the best hugs *lol* even though Tammy was wearing on of the sis's funky flower and it was really pokey *g* but seriously--they rock. i remember when we moved the sis and bro to their house >_< i dont know what i would have done without Tammy.
today we met up with the folks after church...you know, i think thats the right use of the word but it just looks...funny. huh, probably just me *lol*. Had coffee and pasty was nummy! and i saw a friend's sister there which was fun because we havent spoken since..gosh almost a year.
hmmm, i think thats about all i've got to say... except, oh! found the chords for Moon River (the song Audrey Hepburn sings in Breakfast at Tiffany's for those who dont recognize it). according to this REM did a version of it which is...surprising imo but i would really like to find a copy. i've only been able to go over the sogn once though because i got it Friday night and at 1:30 i really needed to go to bed *lol*
huh, more to say after all. ok, last thing. Mum was going down to the outlet stores today...sometime in the next 1/2 hour i would asume and i'm gonna tag along--maybe see if i can find a couple pairs of new slacks and a replacement leather jacket. *bounces* ok, now i'm done. ;)
