one of these days i will post more art...just not today. i do have a question though for anyone who has a shop at CafePress-- is it worth it? do you actually make a profit?
If CafePress nor the Shop Keeper didn't make a profit it wouldn't be as big as it is today. The people who are making a proft are powering CafePress.. so yes you do make a profit. You also set the profit you want, so you choose to make a success of it.
I will say this though, time is money... so guage that into it. You don't want to spend 20 hours on a design that no one is likely to buy. It's fine if you know it will sell.. so spend time researching your target market. Will they actually want to buy your design on a product? That's the key to making a profit on CafePress.. design a product that someone wants and make sure your market can tolerate the markup you put on top of it.
Profit - Yup
