been a long time...
Dec. 3rd, 2006 11:48 ami was in a car accident on thursday. its been really cold and icy this week and i was driving into school, hit ice, swerved several times, took out a telephone power pole (those big ones bade out of tree trunks), then flipped my jeep onto its top. thankfully i escaped with just a few scratches and some sore bits. God was definitly on my side.
i got a new car yesturday (a 2000 black Kia Sephia). its little, 5 speed, and at the right price for what i want so i'm happy.
i havent been doing much online except watching tv and keeping up with the local news just cause i've been A. busy and B. lazy *lol*
in art news, all i've been working on are some watercolor paintings of late. i'm going to try scanning them later today i think though they're an odd size so i'm not sure if i'll be able to recontruct them correctly. it all depends on in the scanner gets them at the same tilt angle from the glass -_-
saw Stranger than Fiction a couple weeks ago. i've never been a Will Ferrall fan but i love Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman and the plot looked too good to pass us. I was wonderfully amazed and totally love the movie. s'right up there with You've Got Mail on my list of favs.
not sure if anyone on the flist did NaNoWRiMo this year--i assume several did--i honestly tried, i was really excited about it and got right to work during the first week. why oh why does fall drama production always have to be in novemeber? alas i got to about 7000 words and got too busy with the play and then afterwards i was a lazy bum and didnt finish. always next year i suppose.
