i'm trying to get sun, i've already been out dozing in it for 45 minutes before i got hungry and came in for lunch *lol* i have this wicked idea to get really tan this weekend so that i can agravate Kelsey on tuesday when i see here *hee* also, i'm bored and must find someway to amuse myself ;)

the Dune books are amazing. 'nuff said.

so i was thinking about making a Full Circle collage because FC makes me cry as much as Meridian did if not more almost because Abydos!!!!!!!*sniffles and quiets movie!fangirl* when a line from Dune Messiah came to me and i was v. much inspired. (ok, so part of that is due to the fact that i think Daniel's Abydonian robes make him look very cute and they always remind me of Paul and my mind makes this cuteness connection thing-- so sue me)

anyway, collage. but i pulled out Messiah and thumbed through it to find the exact wording of the passage i wanted (because the sci-fi movie version and the book differ slightly and i always remember the shorter movie quote) and just wow, i cannot believe the speed with which i used to read these books (and books of similar lengths) because there is no way i could have done that this yr. its taken me over a month just to get halfway through the Cairo book (which is 260ish pages total and an interesting read at that). *sigh* its rather sad that i've let my reading slip so much. also? i need to go buy Heritics of Dune if i remember correctly. unless a simply unread copy is lurking somewhere on my shelfs. this calls for investigation. night all!
