*shakes dust out of her hair*

so, i think i mentioned once how much of a rat pack type person i was not too long ago (well, maybe a month or summat but anyway) the next step to cleaning up my bedroom was to pack up some old books...well LOTS of old books. I'm the person who instead of packing up her old books just goes out a buys more bookcases when she runs out of room so not only is my room lined with bookcases but it also has books out from when i was in third grade. (part of this is that i was reading much more advanced books in 3rd grade so i kept 'em out and reread them throughout many of my grade school years so its not quite as bad as it sounds... though it reall is >_<)

anyway, 2 huge boxes and a couple buckets of dust later and all my old Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys (yes, i was a little mystery addict) and all my "Horsey" books boxed *cheers*

I just felt it was past time i put those away cause it doesnt really look like the sis and Bro are planning on having a kid anytime soon *pouts* so why keep them out? they were just taking up like an entire bookcase. And at the moment i'm working on an advanced reading list that has a good 100 books on it which, admittedly, i'm going to borrow some from family to read but already i've been buying books like crazy and i'm in desperate need of space to stock them (my bedroom doesnt have any more space to put in bookshelves *g*)

which, so saying, i found 5 more books today *boogies* i paid less then $5 total (i think) for them as well. its good. I also started taking notes of people and stuff i observe while out and about (as suggested by Bird by Bird). It was so much fun though 'm sure i annoyed my sister a bit.

so, i was just really beginning to bemoan the end of strawberry season when low and behold plum season arrives! *huggles juicy red plums* i lurve my Da, he's an absolute geneiouw when it comes to gardening. me on the other hand kills anything that comes near me, including cacti (is that a word?)
