Just got back from the theatre. Star Wars has always been such an integral part of my life, like that shiny little fandom i never fall out of love with.





i feel cheated by this ending.

yeah. frankly after the last one i wasnt excepting much but there was that glimmer of hope that Lucas would pull it together and give us something that would shine out but... i'm so disapointed with what he's done to these three movies i kind of feel like the best thing to do would be to scrub them out of memory.

the worst feeling i got out of this was that everyone, everyone just felt off. even Yoda. its like the writers tried too hard and the actors not enough and it was a trainwreck. imo.

for the most part yes, which is sad *sigh* i feel sort of adrift, because Star Wars is over but ... it wasnt an ending that satisfied anything for me. sort of like the "end of an era" feeling, when everything has just fallen apart and the only thing left to do is forget and move on.

i think i'd better stop before i get much more maudlin though *lol*
