winter_rogueisnt procrastination bliss? i mean really. i've been messing around online for... umm, all day and have accomplished one thing: i made a new affiliate for FM. i put the little journal i have BRB part 4 written in right here in front of me but so far its glare hasnt been scary enough to make me type it up and Gracey hasnt been any help, just lounges in the leather comp chair next to me (glares at ripped leather chair which is no longer usable) and reads slash over my shoulder *sigh* whats a gal to do?
and yes, i finally named my muse (Grace if you didnt pick it up). i'm actually quite proud of myself, she's been really tight-waddish about telling me her name *speculates* maybe its because now that i know her true name i can control her? *rolls eyes* ya right. i'm not entirely sure why thats her name... i'm not really one for writing fluff... much. i'm more of a introspective sarcasm *blinks* well i do!
anyway, now all i have to do is come up with a name for my guitar *lol*
oh and while i'm at it *points to icon* theres another of my SMG icons. its a little grainy but oh well.
OMG, i just found out, err found out Friday, that last winter when the music department was thinking about putting on 'Pirates of Panzanse' Dan... Dan, like semi-sarcastic, too smart, DAN was interested in playing the main male lead. *shakes head* this is the guy whose a *drummer* in a rock band... umm walks kinda slouchy (you know how they do... err maybe not but it this weird slouchy thing which just really annoys me), and flirts shamelessly w/ any female who shows an interest (and even those who dont *rolls eyes at oblivious formerly best bud*). not just acting (which i can see) but singing. i'm still a little in shock.
*sighs* i didnt even hear about the try-outs until the play had been canceled because of lack of interest *sniff* me! no one thought to tell me! the girl who actually write play in her spare time as well as snatches any acting oporttunities she can find w/ a vengence! figures, half the time i'm practically invisiable. most of the people who say something are people who are apologizing for bumping into me. ok, i'm starting to make myself depressed again... moving on!
i really sorta want to put a new layout up on FM, i have a really pretty tribute to Spike in 'Chosen' one... all orange-y and red w/ 'Enya' fonts... i like it. hmm, maybe i will *glances at clock* though do i really want to spend the last 2 hours of my evening messing around w/ that?
well, one of my Children's Lit classes is finally making me read 'Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry'. i've never been much of a historical fiction person, even when i was a kid *glances at SW novels and Frank Herbert collection*. SF and fantasy were always more my thing. so, this book, while entertaining, really isnt capturing my attention. i am however reading an awesome M.M. Kaye novel: 'Death in Cyprus'. after SF and F, Mystery was my big weakness *lol* *sheepish grin* you're looking at one of the little girls who along w/ LoTR owned practically every single Hardy Boy and Nacy Drew book she could get her hands on.
