dinner talk and hammocks
Jul. 30th, 2005 08:33 amthe fam dinner ended in discussion on boats and i started thinking about a sail boat again and how very very fun it would be to get a large enough one to live on and sail around sort of europe and bits of north america and maybe even touch on places in N. Africa and sleep in one of those wicked cool string hammocks (the really good kind) and now i'm regretting not buying one when i was up at the Grenville Market because they were having a sale that day. *sigh* next yr! i'll just have to be sure to stop in next yr when we visit again.
i'm thinking that could be fun because i really love the water and the ocean and though i'd need to take a bunch of sail mastering classes (because i've only ever driven/handled 16ft motor boats and canoos *lol*) it would be something adventurous to do...in like, 6 yrs.
blah.
i have 3 icons left to do today and possibly a couple to finish up. i need to read/take notes on at least the next 10ish pgs of R&J because i'm supposed to come in for my test sometime during the beginning of August.
mm, in house lattes. yay!
